FULL WALKTHROUGH!
-click on scroll to turn on light.
-zoom in on scroll.
to the left of the red seal, click on the writing.
Subtitles will show Japanese characters along with three sets of numbers.
Write these numbers down.
They are different in every game.
So, say mine are 25 - 4 - 14
-click on bottom right corner of the scroll and you'll zoom in again.
click on the hollow part.
it's a elongating POLE.
-click on sliding closet to find a FLATHEAD DRIVER (-)/ SCREWDRIVER (x).
-double click on the scroll pole to examine. click on the tip of the brown edge to reveal a slit.
use the flathead driver on it so that it gets longer.
-find the corner with the shrine.
use the elongated pole to reach the GOLD ITEM.
-while still examining this item,
click on the right corners of it to reveal the back.
-turn your flathead driver (-) into a screwdriver (X).
to convert the tool, click on the green handle where the metal meets the green. the handle will come off then click on the tip of the metal. close the handle by click on the same spot of the green handle
-examine the gold item again and unscrew the back to reveal KEY.
-click on key and open the locked to the right.
-enter the dark room.
-click on the shrine house on the left.
there is a black and gray grid below it.
zoom into it and click on the second to bottom middle black square to find CANDLE.
-go to the right and click beyond the shrine house.
-find CANDLE on the bottom corner behind the shrinehouse.
-click beyond the shrinehouse again to zoom in behind it.
-on the bottom right corner of the screen, click on the square to reveal a safe.
-use the numbers found on the scroll: mine were 25 - 4 - 14, but yours will be different.

-safe opens to reveal LIGHTER.
while still examining the lighter, click on the cap to open it.
then click on the wheel to light it.
-go back to the shrinehouse.
-examine candles.
-click on lighter and then click on the wick of the candles to light them.
-place candles on the dishes in front of the shrinehouse.
-open shrinehouse to find BOX.
-click behind the box to find a screw.
-unscrew it to take it off.
-while examining the box, click on the hinge to reveal the back.
unscrew last two screws. to separate the two items.
-go back to the first room to where the TV is.
-click on the tatami mat under the TV.
-place the hinge in between the two tatami mats.
-click on the wooden box and then click on the tatami mat to the right on the hinge to uncover another grid.
-zoom out to the TV.
-turn screwdriver back into a flathead.
-examine the wooden box and use the flathead to pry off the top to reveal a REMOTE.
-the TV will show a 3D cube.

The arrow will direct you to which layer is first.
the first layer to you is what you press first.
the second layer is what you press second.
the third layer is what you press last.

it will show an animation of something in the dark room.
-go to the darkroom.
click on the left scene of the shrine where the red gate/scaffolding is.
-click on the bottom right peg where the black is to find a keyhole.
-insert the gold key
The 'gate' will knock over the shrine house to reveal stairs.
-go down the stairs to escape!
